This pre-manufactured metal building was generously donated by R&M Steel Corporation of Caldwell, Idaho!
Construction of the New Professional Technical Education Building for Horseshoe Bend High School started in March of 2011 and was occupied in August of 2011. The program offers students opportunities and diplomas normally only available in larger school districts. The building is dedicated to Veteran Jake Ferguson, a former Tech Teacher at the Horseshoe Bend School District. He was instrumental in bringing this dream alive.
Scope: The project consists of a 7,800 sf pre-engineered metal building which was generously donated by R&M Steel Company. The building has a 4′ high CMU wainscot and features shop and classroom areas, office space and new restrooms. Utility work and site improvements are also included.
Services: CM Company, Inc. provided Construction Management services for this project. The design team included Hummel Architects, Lochsa Engineering, Musgrove Engineering, The Land Group, R&M Steel Company and Mountain View Engineering.
