Encompassing just over three acres, this dynamic new exhibit highlights Zoo Boise’s long-term conservation partner, Gorongosa National Park in Mozambique, by bringing a slice of the park to Boise.

The exhibit occupies a total of three acres, including the annexation of approximately 1.5 acres of Julia Davis Park. The exhibit was designed to tell the story of Gorongosa National Park and its significance as one of the most diverse locations on the planet.

The exhibit expands the collection at Zoo Boise by adding species found in the real National Park. In total, the exhibit contains 26 species of which 21 are new to Zoo Boise.
